On March 14, 2023, at the People’s Committee of Sa Nhon commune, Sa Thay district, Kon Tum province, a raising striped pigs training session took place.
This is one of the activities in the Micro Grant (MG), namely “Support women raising striped pig to develop household economy in Sa Nhon commune” which is implemented by the Women Union of Sa Nhon Commune. This project is a part of the 2nd phase Small Grants Programme (SGP II) funded by the ASEAN Center for Biodiversity (ACB) and the German Reconstruction Bank (KfW), facilitated by the Institute of Resources and Environment (IREN) as the Service Provider.
Participants in the training session were Mrs. Luong Thi Yen – Leader of the Women Union of Sa Nhon Commune, the training expert, and representatives of 30 households who are beneficiaries of the project.
At the training session, the training expert presented the techniques of breeding and raising striped pigs to increase productivity and economic income for local households participating in the project.
