On March 13, 2023, at the People’s Committee of Sa Son commune, Sa Thay district, Kon Tum province, an organic composting training session took place.
This is one of the activities in the Micro Grant (MG), namely “Support agricultural farming households to compost and fertilize crops to increase productivity and economic income”, which is implemented by the Women’s Union of Sa Son Commune. This project is a part of the 2nd phase Small Grants Programme (SGP II) funded by the ASEAN Center for Biodiversity (ACB) and the German Reconstruction Bank (KfW), facilitated by the Institute of Resources and Environment (IREN) as the Service Provider.
Participating in the training session were Mr. Ha Van Hung – Representative of the National Advisory Group of the SGPII Program, Dr. Ho Dac Thai Hoang – Director of the Institute of Natural Resources and Environment, Ms. Phan Thi Thanh Thom – Leader of Sa Son Commune Women’s Union, groups interested in the project, trainers of the training course and representatives of 10 households who are beneficiaries of the project.
At the training session, the trainers presented agricultural techniques of composting, how to fertilize crops to increase productivity and increase economic income for the benefiting households.
