On March 15, 2025, the ASEAN Centre for Biodiversity (ACB) organized a meeting with Hue City Union of Science and Technology Associations (HUSTA) to assess the progress of grants implementation in the SGP II Programme
ACB representatives included Ms. Che de Jesus – Acting director; Ms. Sarah Grace Ancheta – Programme officer, and Ms. Huynh Thi Thuy Hanh – Country manager. HUSTA included Dr. Ho Dac Thai Hoang, Director of HUSTA, and HUSTA project team members.
The session focused on evaluating the outcomes of small grants (SGs) and micro-grants (MGs), updating grant disbursement status and addressing issues of each grantee.
HUSTA has effectively supported the implementation and management of grants, ensuring its alignment with the goals of biodiversity conservation and sustainable development at Kon Ka Kinh and Chu Mom Ray ASEAN heritage parks. ACB recognized HUSTA responsibility as service provider in providing both technical and financial support to grantees, significantly contributing to the success of the SGP II Programme.
